Please keep an on-going list of of city and provincial deals that support privatization of public services and which hide the growing power of the Ford government at the expense of our City. Also, the number of senior positions that are vacant in the city administration when Ford has given Mayors the power to directly appoint public sector positions while draining funding tells us that we are likely to get more unqualified party faithfuls appointed to public positions,

For all of mayor Sutcliffe’s bombast and hubris about what a great negotiator he is, the city gets a non-negotiable deal sacrificing care space and a pitiful deal for city support from the Ford government.

Turn the last green space of the Riverside Hospital site, recently decimated by the installation of the new watermain, into a protected urban forest for community use including the residents living in the Schlegel retirement complex (in 8 and 15 storey towers). Reinvest $13 million into protecting and creating this local green space so that residents of the retirement home can enjoy parkland with family and friends and neighbours. We have so many good City initiatives for reforestation and improved drainage. Building a parking lot on land that was forested and landscaped is totally inconsistent with the City's climate change initiatives. The proposed parking lot is also not in sink with the City's Master Transportation Plan. This proposed parking lot is totally inconsistent with so many of the well thought City initiatives.
